Brian LeClair earned the top seed Thursday afternoon for the finals at the 2019 PBA50 South Shore Open.
Brian LeClair will look to win his second consecutive PBA50 Tour title this season as he earned the top seed Thursday afternoon for the finals at the 2019 PBA50 South Shore Open.
LeClair, who won last week’s PBA50 River City Extreme Open, secured the top seed by going 6-0 in the final round of match play to post a 1,670 total, a 248.33 average, at Olympia Lanes in Hammond, Indiana.
The stepladder finals will begin at 8 p.m. Eastern today live on FloBowling and will feature LeClair, Harry Sullins, Ron Mohr, Sammy Ventura and Ryan Shafer.

Sullins, a three-time PBA50 champion who is seeking his first win since 2011, earned the second seed by posting a 5-1 match-play record and totaling 1,603.
Mohr finished 39th in qualifying yesterday but was able to advance as one of the top eight super seniors outside the cut number. Mohr took full advantage of the opportunity, advancing through a cashers round and two rounds of match play to make the finals. In the final round of match play, Mohr went 5-1 and totaled 1,533.
Ventura earned the fourth seed with a 4-1-1 record and 1,515 and will take on Shafer in the first match of the stepladder. Shafer qualified fifth with a 4-1-1 record and 1,453 total.
