Ron Mohr will be the top seed in a star-studded stepladder finals this evening at the PBA50 Dave Small’s Championship Lanes Classic.
Ron Mohr will be the top seed in a star-studded stepladder finals this evening at the PBA50 Dave Small’s Championship Lanes Classic.
Mohr earned the top seed by going 5-1 in match play and posting a 1,488 total, a 223 average, at the event in Anderson, Indiana. The stepladder finals are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Eastern tonight live on FloBowling.
Joining Mohr on the show is Walter Ray Williams Jr., Lennie Boresch Jr., Ryan Shafer and Doug Kent.

Williams, who qualified second with 1,473, will look to own the PBA50 record for most career titles outright with a victory tonight. He currently is tied for the most with John Handegard at 14.
Boresch jumped from seventh heading into the position round into third place with 1,458. Boresch beat Pete Weber, 269-235, in the final game of match play to make the finals.
Shafer, who along with Mohr is making his second consecutive finals appearance, finished in the fourth position with 1,443, while Kent was just a pin back in fifth place with 1,442.
Shafer and Kent will meet in the opening match of the stepladder finals.
