Lennie Boresch Jr. survived a rolloff Sunday afternoon to earn the top seed for the finals of the 2019 PBA50 Spectrum Lanes Open.
Lennie Boresch Jr. survived a rolloff Sunday afternoon to earn the top seed for the finals of the 2019 PBA50 Spectrum Lanes Open.
Boresch will be joined on the show by Eugene McCune, Walter Ray Williams Jr., Ron Mohr and Brian LeClair. The finals start at 7 p.m. Eastern today live on FloBowling from Wyoming, Michigan.
Boresch and McCune finished match play tied at 6,767 after 28 games, forcing a one-game rolloff to decide who would be the top seed.
In the rolloff, McCune could have thrown a double to beat Boresch. He got the first one but left a four pin on his second shot to lose 225-224.
Williams earned the third seed with 6,738, Mohr took the fourth seed with 6,727 and LeClair was fifth with 6,614. Mohr and LeClair will meet in the opening match of the stepladder finals.
