For the second time in three events, Sean Rash has earned the top seed for a stepladder finals after leading the field Friday at the 2019 PBA Bowlerstore Classic.
Rash’s 17-game total of 3,873, a 227.82 average, put him in the top spot by 34 pins at Pla-Mor Lanes in Coldwater, Ohio.
Joining Rash in the stepladder finals will be Tommy Jones, Dick Allen and defending champion Jakob Butturff. The finals begin live on FloBowling at 5 p.m. Eastern today.

Rash earned the top seed at the 2019 PBA Wilmington Open last week before losing in the final match to BJ Moore, 243-215.
In the final game of the Round of 8, Jones shot 276 to surge from sixth place up to second with a 3,839 total.
Allen entered the final game in third place and stayed in that position as he finished with 3,830. Butturff closed with a 242 game to move from seventh to fourth in the final game with 3,804.
Kenny Ryan had a chance to make the show in the final frame but finished fifth with 3,794 and missed by just 10 pins. Needing a mark to secure a spot, the left-handed Ryan went high and left a 4-6-10 split for an open to be knocked out.
