Columbus Event To Feature PBA, PWBA, Amateur Stars
With a sold-out field, this week’s Columbus HP $10K Mega Event will be one of the biggest bowling events in the country since the start of the pandemic.

With a sold-out field of hundreds of top professional and amateur bowlers, this week’s Columbus HP $10K Mega Event in Columbus, Ohio, will be one of the biggest bowling events in the country since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
The tournament begins Thursday at 7 p.m. Eastern live exclusively on FloBowling with the five-game doubles event. Team event will take place Friday at 7 p.m. Eastern with three traditional games and six Baker games.
The main event – singles – gets underway Saturday with two squads of qualifying at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Eastern. The top 50 will advance to a six-game semifinals at 10 a.m. Eastern on Sunday and the top 10 will bowl a modified stepladder finals at 1 p.m. Eastern on Sunday.
With a $10,000 first-place prize in the singles event, the tournament has attracted a sold-out field of 250 players, including big names from the amateur and professional ranks.
Among the PBA players who are scheduled to compete are Tommy Jones, Ryan Ciminelli, Andrew Anderson, Ryan Shafer, Brad Angelo, AJ Johnson, Jason Sterner, Mykel Holliman, Matt Sanders, Nick Pate, DJ Archer, Darren Tang and more.
PWBA stars are scheduled to compete as well with Shannon O’Keefe, Dasha Kovalova, Valerie Bercier, Sydney Brummett and Shannon Pluhowsky on the roster.
The lineup also includes big-time amateur stars like Adam Barta and Fero Wiliams in the field along with many, many others. Click here for the full roster.
