PBA Hall of Famer Pete Weber has earned the top seed for tonight’s stepladder finals at the 2021 PBA50 National Championship.

PBA Hall of Famer Pete Weber has earned the top seed for tonight’s stepladder finals at the 2021 PBA50 National Championship.

Weber will be joined on the show by No. 2 Lennie Boresch Jr., No. 3 Michael Haugen Jr., No. 4 Tom Hess and No. 5 Walter Ray Williams Jr. for the finals, which will be broadcast live exclusively on FloBowling at 7 p.m. Eastern.
Weber led the event by a wide margin heading into the finals. He finished with a 34-game total of 8,597 and a 15-1 record in match play at Spanish Springs Lanes in The Villages, Florida.
Boresch held off Haugen in the final game to hold onto the second seed with a 9-6-1 record and 8,357 total. Haugen, who has two second-place finishes this season, finished match play with a 10-5-1 record and 8,335 total.
Hess posted a stellar 15-1 match-play record Thursday to move up from 17th place at the start of the day to earn the fourth seed with a total of 8,249.
Williams, who won the first event of the PBA50 season, got the final spot with an 8-8 record and 8,181 total. Chris Barnes was the first man out, finishing sixth with 8,143.
