With a vast majority of the season concluded, Jason Belmonte leads the PBA Tour in earnings for the 2019 season with $275,290.
The eight players who earned spots in the FloBowling ATX Invite will have a chance to add to their season earnings when they compete in the event on Sept. 21. And for one player, that will be an important storyline to watch.
The PBA announced last month the PBA Clash will return in 2019 with the top eight on the earnings list getting invitations to the event. The only player who can move into the top eight is Kyle Sherman as the rest of the top seven are locked in.
Sherman would need to win the FloBowling ATX Invite, which has a first-place prize of $25,000, to pass Norm Duke.
