The 2022 Professional Bowlers Association King of the Lanes will air in prime time on Fox Sports' FS1 (United States) and FloBowling (international) over five consecutive weeknights in June.

The top eight Guaranteed Rate PBA Tour professionals, as determined by competition points earned over the past two seasons, will visit Strikerz Bowling in the Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, Washington, for the 2022 PBA Tour Finals, which will feature nine hours of live bowling on CBS Sports Network (United States) and FloBowling (international) on June 4 and 5.

The 2022 PBA50 Tour begins Tuesday, April 19 with qualifying for the PBA50 Lightning Strikes Lanes Open at Lightning Strikes Lanes in Fort Myers, Florida.

In the history of the PBA Tour, there have been 365 players who have won at least one title in their career. None of them has been as successful as Walter Ray Williams Jr., however.

On the strength of winning two Guaranteed Rate PBA Tour titles and setting the all-time single-season earnings record, Kyle Troup was named the 2021 Chris Schenkel PBA Player of the Year. Troup received the overwhelming majority of votes from PBA membership and veteran bowling writers, with François Lavoie finishing a distant second and Chris Via close behind Lavoie in third.

Matthew Russo, whose victory in the PBA Jonesboro Open made him the only rookie to win a 2021 Guaranteed Rate PBA Tour title, was named the 2021 Harry Golden PBA Rookie of the Year after receiving the majority of votes from PBA membership and veteran bowling writers.

PBA50 Tour rookie Tom Hess closed the 2021 season with victories in the Senior U.S. Open and USBC Senior Masters—defeating Chris Barnes in the title match of both—to claim the PBA50 Bowler of the Year and PBA50 Rookie of the Year awards.

The 2022 Guaranteed Rate PBA Tour schedule was announced today, and an action-packed season awaits the world’s greatest bowlers.

In March, news came out that a CBS had ordered a pilot for Smallwood, a comedy based on the life of PBA player Tom Smallwood. This week, CBS announced it has given the green light the series.

The four lane patterns being used this week at the U.S. Open were released Monday just before the official practice sessions, and the general consensus is that the second pattern the players will face will prove especially difficult.

RENO, Nev. – PBA star Anthony Simonsen has withdrawn from the 2021 U.S. Open.

Sean Rash has withdrawn from the 2021 USBC Masters after just one round of qualifying.

With seven events now completed, including the five events at the recent PBA World Series of Bowling, the points list is starting to take shape for the 2021 PBA Playoffs.
