2019 Season

Lavoie’s 2019 wasn’t much to talk about until late June (although he did finish 19^th in the USBC Masters in March), but then it became quite the fodder for discussion. Lavoie first showed he was still the man we know when he finished sixth in Lubbock, Texas, then – kind of stealthily – finished no lower than 11^th in the three Summer Swing events, all leading to his second career U.S. Open championship and putting the 26-year-old just one title away from Hall of Fame eligibility.

2020 Outlook

These are the preseason rankings, which means the end of Lavoie’s 2019 means a whole lot more than the beginning and middle. The two-time major champion should begin this season as he finished last season, contending early and often. It would be a surprise if Lavoie didn’t qualify for the PBA Playoffs based on his early-season performance.
