2019 Season
Duke’s back-to-back victories in Indianapolis and Jonesboro, Arkansas, made him just the third player in PBA history to reach 40 titles. Plus, the two top prizes helped him reach six figures in earnings for the first time since 2010, when it was old hat for him to do so. In addition to his two wins, Duke racked up three more top 10s, including a 10th-place finish in the U.S. Open.
2020 Outlook
Duke should have a stronger start to 2020 than he did in 2019, when he finished 57th in the Hall of Fame Classic (his second-worst finish of the entire season). He won’t bowl all the events, but he’ll bowl the big ones and he’ll contend. What previously seemed impossible – Earl Anthony’s second-most 43 PBA Tour titles – now looks plausible, even if it may take Duke a couple years to get there.
