WILMINGTON, Del. – EJ Tackett of Huntington, Ind., finished Saturday’s seven-game qualifying round with games of 269, 288 and 269 to take a 99-pin lead over the 50 players who advanced to Sunday’s cashers’ round in the 10th anniversary PBA Xtra Frame Gene Carter’s Pro Shop Classic at Mid-County Bowling and Entertainment Center.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Five-time PBA Tour and three-time PBA50 Tour winner Harry Sullins of Chesterfield Twp., Mich., bowled a 279 game in his last game of first round qualifying Tuesday to take the lead in the PBA60 Dick Weber Championship presented by 900 Global for players ages 60 and over.

WYOMING, Mich. –  Rolando Sebelen of the Dominican Republic, a multi-medalist in international competition, averaged 232 to dominate the first round of qualifying in the PBA50 Cup presented by DV8 Friday at Spectrum Lanes.

ANDERSON, Ind. – Ron Mohr of Las Vegas bowled his second 300 game in two days on his way to becoming the top qualifier Monday in the PBA50 Dave Small’s Championship Lanes Classic presented by Roto Grip.

KOKOMO, Ind. - PBA Hall of Famer Bryan Goebel of Shawnee, Kan., who spent the first half of the year working himself back into shape after abdominal surgery last December, bowled a 1,807 eight-game pinfall total in the second round to emerge as the top qualifier in the PBA50 Security Federal Savings Bank Championship presented by Track Monday at Dave Small’s Heritage Lanes.

HOUSTON, Texas – USBC Hall of Famer Liz Johnson of Palatine, Ill., and 2016 PBA Player of the Year EJ Tackett of Huntington, Ind., combined for a 3,196 seven-game pinfall total to lead 40 doubles teams that advanced to the semifinal round of the PBA-PWBA Storm Striking Against Breast Cancer Mixed Doubles Saturday at Copperfield Bowl.
